The pink room is stylishly decorated with sustainability in mind. The floor is reclaimed, the cupboard is up-cycled and other furnishings are a sympathetic mix of vintage pieces, homemade and pre-loved gems.

The floor is from Lancaster University gym. Furnishings have been sourced from Gumtree, eBay and Facebook marketplace. The side table is turn of the century sourced from a local re-use hub. Even the plants were donations or cuttings.

The kitchen was rescued from a skip and was once in a house in Edinburgh. The worktop, tiles and appliances are pre-loved, ex-showroom or surplus to requirements. One man's trash is another man's treasure!

The bathroom is also 'reclaimed' - leftover tiles, unwanted sanitaryware, it's amazing what people are throwing away. We use the local village refill shop for our toiletries which are 100% organic and vegan.
